Platform enterprises

Platform enterprise: an enterprise that builds a platform for information production, browsing and interaction, usually provides free basic services, and takes value-added services and advertisements as its income point. We call it a platform enterprise.

There are three types of platform organizations, namely resource-based platform companies, process-based platform companies and product-based platform companies.

1. Resource-based platform company: It can provide necessary resources for start-up or growth institutions and reduce various barriers to entry, such as funds, time, channels, brands and talents. Many laboratories open to the outside world are also resource-based platform companies.

2. Process platform company: Compared with the resource platform, the process platform is a higher-level platform organization and also covers the general content of the resource platform. Process-based platform companies are not imaginary, and it is often the successful operation of such companies in business practice that causes peers to recognize their efficient processes.

Third, the product-oriented platform company: it is a product-oriented platform organization that looks for like-minded people in various resources, follows some established processes and constantly creates new processes. This is organic tissue.
