Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone (1993) was established with the approval of the State Council. It is the earliest national development zone in Chongqing and the earliest national economic development zone in western China. Chongqing's most beautiful landscape new city has 15km of the Yangtze River coastline, 10,000 mu of Nanshan forest and 38km of winding rivers, forming a landscape of 60km2.
It is the gathering place of high-tech industries in Chongqing, the national high-tech industrialization base of mobile communication, the industrialization base of 3G technology and the national industrialization demonstration base of Internet of Things. This is the national logistics center planned by Chongqing, one of the three major bases and four major ports, making it an important inland river port of million TEU level in the west.
