The three major arms manufacturers in the United States

1995 in March, Lockheed and Martin marietta announced their merger to form Lockheed Martin. Before the merger, Lockheed was a world-famous manufacturer of military aircraft, producing F- 16 fighters, C- 130 transport aircraft, strategic missile systems and strategic anti-missile systems. Martin marietta is the largest electronics company in the world, producing rockets, tactical missile systems, anti-tank missiles and other products. Later, the new company merged the aerospace electronic system of Lolar and the electronic system of General Electric Company. Lockheed Martin has thus become the world's largest arms enterprise, controlling about 40% of the world fighter market, including almost all the production and launch business of American military satellites.

1In August, 1996, Boeing announced that it would invest 3 1 billion dollars to acquire the defense and aerospace branch of Rockwell Company. In February of the same year, Boeing announced the merger with McDonnell Douglas. Boeing is the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, which occupied more than 50% of the world passenger aircraft market before the merger. McDonnell Douglas is one of the largest manufacturers of military aircraft, missiles and aerospace products in the world. Its F-4 fighter-bomber, A-4 attack aircraft, F- 14 fighter aircraft, F-A-18 attack aircraft, helicopters, anti-submarine missiles and cruise missiles sell well in the international market. After the merger of Boeing Company and McDonnell Douglas Company, the new Boeing Company was established and became the second largest military enterprise in the world.

1In April, 1995, Raytheon bought the electronic system company of a large military electronics company with a capital of 2.3 billion US dollars, and then merged Hughes Electronics Company and Texas Instruments Company to form the new Raytheon Company. The company monopolized the production of American air-to-air missiles and became the third largest military enterprise in the world.
