On June 5, 2023, at 65438, BYD's high-end brand looked up to the first car with the internal code name R 1, which was officially named Looking Up to U8 and released. The new car will be a large-scale flagship SUV built on the platform of easy Sifang architecture, which is expected to be launched in the first half of 2023. In terms of power, BYD u8 is equipped with 1.5T DM-i super hybrid technology, with an acceleration of less than 4s per 100 kilometers.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the family design language of looking up to the new "secondary door". Founder's front face is tougher. The polygonal mesh front air intake grille is integrated with the split headlights on both sides to form a through design, which makes the overall front face look mighty and powerful, and also brings a good sense of science and technology.
