Polyester is the first kind of chemical fiber. Its raw materials are easily available, its performance is excellent, it is widely used and develops rapidly. The biggest characteristics of polyester are stable quality, good strength and wear resistance.
The fabric made of it is stiff and not easy to deform, and the polyester has strong heat resistance; Good chemical stability, no reaction with weak acids, weak bases and oxidants at room temperature.
Extended data:
Acrylic fiber is white, curly and fluffy, and it feels soft, similar to wool. Often blended with wool or used as a substitute for wool, it is also called "synthetic wool". The hygroscopicity of acrylic fiber is not good enough, but its wettability is better than wool and silk fiber. Its wear resistance is poor in synthetic fiber, and the ironing temperature of acrylic fiber is below 130℃.
Spandex has excellent elasticity, but its strength is 2 ~ 3 times higher than that of latex yarn, its linear density is thinner and it is more resistant to chemical degradation. Spandex has good acid and alkali resistance, perspiration resistance, seawater resistance, dry cleaning resistance and wear resistance. Generally, spandex fiber is not used alone, but a small amount is mixed into the fabric, such as blending with other fibers or making core-spun yarn, which is used to weave elastic fabrics.
