The main enterprises are: Shangyu Sheng Da Biochemical Co., Ltd., Shangyu Sheng Hui Chemical Co., Ltd., Shangyu Xinli Pigment Chemical Plant, Shaoxing Zhongning Chemical Co., Ltd. and Shangyu Zhongchang. Packaging and paper industry: it has always been a pillar industry in the industrial economy of Xietang, with a solid foundation. Shaoxing Oriental Paper Packaging Co., Ltd., as a designated manufacturer of export packaging in Zhejiang Province and a small and medium-sized advantageous enterprise in Shangyu City, mainly produces high-strength corrugated cardboard, cartons, cartons and other packaging products, and its output value, sales volume and profits and taxes account for about 20% of the total industrial economy of the town. It is an influential large-scale packaging paper production enterprise in Shangyu. Light industrial machinery industry: Our town has a certain foundation and has developed rapidly in recent years. The dependence and quality of mechanical products such as diesel engine, powerful connecting rod and precision casting have improved and developed rapidly, which has reached a certain scale and become a new growth point of the town's industrial economy. The main enterprises are: Shangyu Surin Diesel Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shangyu Powerful Connecting Rod Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shangyu Longteng Precision Foundry, etc. Xietang Town Industrial Park was planned and established in March 2002, and passed the certification in August 2002. The park is located on both sides of Minxing section of Xietang border port highway in Yubei District, only 3 kilometers away from Shangyu border terminal crossing of Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway and 6 kilometers away from Shangyu Port, the only maritime terminal in Shaoxing City. The entrance road runs through the park, and the planned area of the park is 1000 mu, with light industrial machinery, building materials and other processing and manufacturing industries as the leading industries and development direction. The development goal is to build the park into an intensive and large-scale comprehensive industrial park. The park enjoys a superior geographical position, convenient land and water transportation and perfect basic facilities. According to the requirements of "high starting point planning and high standard construction", the park will increase investment attraction, provide preferential policies and quality services, and strive to build the park into a township industrial park with obvious advantages and characteristics. After nearly a year's construction, the industrial park has made a good start, attracting investors with superior location, preferential policies and excellent services. By the end of May, 2002, 18 enterprises had settled in the park, and 345 mu of land had been transferred by agreement, with a total investment of 50.8 million yuan, of which 34.34 million yuan had been invested.
