The construction scale of the company is three 130t/h circulating fluidized bed boilers and two 24MW condensing steam turbine generator sets, with a total investment of more than 500 million yuan. It was completed in May 2005 to provide steam for power generation. The project uses electric power station boilers, and the dust removal efficiency is as high as 99%. The automatic pressure regulating system of high temperature and high pressure parameters has reliable performance and small pressure change rate, which can ensure the steam quality of heat users at any time and meet the needs of steam characteristics of heat users. Since it was put into production, the steam supply capacity of steam extraction units can reach more than 160- 180 tons/hour, which greatly relieves the local steam and electricity shortage and attracts a large number of domestic and foreign enterprises to settle here. At the same time, it ensures the beautiful and clean natural environment and living environment in this area. By the end of 2008, the company currently has a total network of kilometers, and will further develop and expand; There are more than 30 steam users with an annual sales of 430,000 tons, mainly serving foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises in Dushuhu Science and Education Innovation Zone of Suzhou Industrial Park and Hedong Industrial Park of Wuzhong District, and making important contributions to supporting the development of regional private economy; The annual on-grid electricity consumption is about 300 million kilowatts, which plays a very important role in alleviating the power shortage of East China Power Grid and the sustainable development of Suzhou Industrial Park.
Suzhou Wu Dong Thermal Power Co., Ltd. has become a key basic enterprise in the development of circular economy in Suzhou Industrial Park, and the healthy development of the company has been highly valued by leaders at all levels of the management committee.
