Airbus Tianjin assembly line

The Airbus Tianjin assembly line located in Tianjin is the only Airbus assembly line in Asia, and the Airbus A32 1 aircraft will be officially put into production. On September 13, 2022, the first batch of two Airbus A32 1 aircraft components arrived at the Airbus Tianjin assembly line.

Airbus has been able to produce and deliver A32 1 aircraft on four A320 series aircraft assembly lines around the world. As the only Airbus assembly line in Asia, Airbus Tianjin assembly line officially put into production A32 1 model.

On September 1 1 day, 2022, the first batch of two Airbus A32 1 aircraft parts carried by China-Hong Kong cargo ships were successfully unloaded and loaded at the Pacific International Container Terminal in Tianjin Port. On September 13, 2022, the first batch of A32 1 Airbus large parts will be transported to Tianjin assembly workshop by special trucks for assembly. Since the assembly line of Airbus Asia A320 series aircraft was completed in 15, the first batch of A32 1 aircraft core components arrived in Hong Kong, which is a milestone.

Airbus Tianjin's first assembly line was put into operation in 2008, and more than 600 A320 series aircraft have been assembled. In March, 2023, Airbus Tianjin assembly line completed the final assembly and delivered the first A32 1neo aircraft, indicating that its production capacity has fully covered A320 series aircraft.

Development situation

Airbus predicts that in the next 20 years, the average annual growth rate of air traffic in China will reach 5.3%, which is higher than the world average of 3.6%. By 20041year, China's demand for passenger planes and cargo planes is expected to reach 8,420, exceeding the global demand (about 39,500) by 20%.

Airbus also signed a memorandum of cooperation with China Aviation Oil Group Co., Ltd., which will strengthen the cooperation between China and Europe in the production and application of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and the formulation of traffic standards.
