Can I take the securities exam only if I work in a securities company?

China Securities Industry Association divides securities examination into unified examination, special examination and cloud examination. The difference between the three exams lies in the different groups of candidates. Among them, the securities unified examination is for social candidates, and candidates who do not work in securities companies can also register. The following are the differences between the unified examination group, the special examination group and the cloud examination group.

1. Securities practitioners (unified) examination is open to the public, and all candidates can apply for it.

2. Securities practitioners (special) examination, once for securities companies and securities investment consulting institutions, is for those who have joined securities companies (those who have not worked in securities companies/institutions cannot take the examination).

3. Securities industry (cloud) examination, which is aimed at candidates of securities companies, that is, those who have already joined the securities companies to take the examination (those who have not worked in securities companies cannot take the examination).
