Di Xin is strong-willed and selfish. Di Xin, soft-blooded, powerful, skilled in beasts, brave and eloquent, and even more headstrong. So, relying on his strong national strength and his surplus energy, he developed to the southeast on a large scale and conquered the rich human tribes (now Huaihe River Basin), thus expanding his territory without calculation and spreading his national prestige in all directions.
During the Shang Dynasty, he was made a "priest" and became Xibo. Because of the weight taboo, Ji Li was placed under house arrest and starved to death. Since then, the seeds of hatred have been planted between the Zhou tribe and the Shang Dynasty. After Ji Li's death, his son, Ji Chang, succeeded to the throne and practiced benevolent government, becoming increasingly powerful. The nearby tribes were very convinced of the Shang Dynasty and were also very afraid.

Various records and legends about da ji are well-known and deeply rooted in people's hearts. Until the end of 19 century and the beginning of the 20th century, archaeologists excavated many Shang Dynasty relics in Xiaotun Village, Anyang City, Henan Province, including jade articles, bronzes and other artifacts, especially a large number of characters and "Oracle Bone Inscriptions" carved on tortoise shells and animal bones.
It enables us to know more about the historical situation before the Zhou Dynasty than Confucius and Sima Qian, thus evaluating the true colors of da ji and Shang King Di Xin.
"Zhou Wang" is not his real title of emperor, but an evil obituary imposed on him by later generations, which means "residual righteousness damages goodness". No matter how puzzling a person is, he won't paint his face like this. His correct name should be "Di Xin".
