What are these two types of companies?

Companies are divided into limited companies (limited liability companies) and joint stock companies (joint stock companies).

Shareholders of a limited company shall be liable to the company to the extent of their subscribed capital contribution.

Shareholders of a joint stock limited company shall be liable to the company to the extent of the shares subscribed by them.

Article 8 of the Company Law stipulates that a limited liability company established in accordance with this Law must indicate the words limited liability company or limited company in its name.

A joint stock limited company established in accordance with this law must indicate the words joint stock limited company or joint stock company in its name.
