Suzaku II series launch vehicle is a medium-sized liquid launch vehicle system with independent intellectual property rights independently developed by Blue Arrow Aerospace Science and Technology Co., Ltd., which is equipped with liquid oxygen methane cryogenic engine with independent intellectual property rights.
On July 12, 2023, Suzaku II long-range liquid oxygen methane carrier rocket was successfully launched at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, and the rocket entered the scheduled orbit, and the test mission was a complete success. This mission is the second flight of Suzaku II carrier rocket. It is also the first liquid oxygen methane rocket in the world to successfully send a load into a predetermined orbit.
Suzaku II is a two-stage liquid launch vehicle with a diameter of 3.35m, a total length of 49.5m, a total weight of 2 16 tons, a total takeoff thrust of 268 tons, a carrying capacity of 4 tons in sun-synchronous orbit at a height of 500km and 6 tons in low-earth orbit at a height of 200km. Two standard SUVs can be sent into space at the same time.
Application of Suzaku II rocket
Suzaku II series launch vehicles are the rockets of private companies with the largest transport capacity and the widest pedigree in China. The whole series covers the transportation needs of low, medium and high tracks from the second level to the third level, from the polished rod configuration to the 3CBC configuration, and can be flexibly arranged according to the different needs of customers. It has the potential to expand into reusable rockets in the future.
Suzaku-2 liquid launch vehicle solved the above problems one by one through a series of innovations, such as optimizing system architecture, innovating material system, innovating manufacturing technology, reconstructing power system and realizing automatic launch without tower, and realized many advantages such as environmental protection, economy, quick response, reusability and mass production.
Among them, the integrated electrical single machine reduces the electrical cost of the whole arrow by 80%; The tower-less launch system greatly improves the launch efficiency and shortens the launch preparation time to 7 days.
