The development history of ACC

The Global Association of Corporate Counsel is a self-regulatory organization for corporate counsel around the world. Headquartered in Washington, USA, it was established in 1982. When it was founded, the name of the association was "American Association of Corporate Counsel". Later, with the acceleration of economic globalization, most of its members have become global multinational companies, and individual members are distributed all over the world. In June 2003, it was renamed Global Association of Corporate Counsel.

ACC currently has 45 branches and 65,438+02 committees in the United States, Europe and Israel, and has more than 65,438+07,000 members from 7,000 enterprises in 47 countries around the world. ACC holds an annual meeting every year, and the annual meeting in 2004 is the largest in ACC history. At the invitation of ACC, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council organized China Petrochemical Group, China Sinochem Group, China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. and China Railway Engineering Corporation to attend the 2004 annual meeting of Global Counsel Association in the United States.
