Compensation standard for flight delay

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has not issued a mandatory standard for flight delay compensation. Different airlines have issued different regulations, mainly: 1. The compensation standard for half of domestic airlines is: 200 yuan will be compensated for the delay of more than 4 hours (not more than 8 hours) at the departure point due to airline reasons, and 400 yuan will be compensated for the delay of more than 8 hours. This standard is applicable to large airlines such as Air China, China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines, as well as local airlines such as Kunming Airlines, Donghai Airlines and Qingdao Airlines. 2. The compensation standards of China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines are: 200 yuan should be compensated for the delay of more than 4 hours (not more than 8 hours) at the departure place due to airline reasons, and 400 yuan should be compensated for the delay of more than 8 hours ". Airlines only set a minimum amount. No matter what the reason of flight delay or cancellation is, airlines do not provide economic compensation. Seven airlines, including Spring Airlines, Changan Airlines, Guilin Airlines, Beibu Gulf Airlines, China United Airlines, Western Airlines and Urumqi Airlines, have made it clear that they will not provide economic compensation to passengers, but only provide meals or accommodation compensation. 4. China Air China's compensation conditions and standards are as follows: Air China will provide economic compensation to passengers according to the actual situation of flight delay caused by air China's reasons such as maintenance, flight deployment and crew. If the delay is more than 4 hours (inclusive) but not more than 8 hours, each passenger will pay RMB 200 yuan; If the delay time exceeds 8 hours (inclusive), each passenger shall pay RMB 400 yuan. 5. Four airlines, including Jixiang Airlines, chose more detailed compensation standards and increased compensation for delays of more than 6 hours (not more than 8 hours). The compensation amounts of Jixiang Airlines are 200 yuan, 300 yuan and 400 yuan respectively, and the compensation amounts of Okay Airlines, Yunnan Hongtu Airlines and Happiness Airlines are 100 yuan, 200 yuan and 300 yuan respectively. In addition, Jiangxi Airlines also refined the delay of more than 4 hours (not more than 8 hours) according to the voyage standard, in which the voyage below 90 minutes compensated 200 yuan and the voyage above 90 minutes compensated 300 yuan.
