What conditions should an enterprise dealing in veterinary drugs have? How to go through the examination and approval procedures?

Veterinary drug enterprises refer to enterprises specializing in veterinary drugs and enterprises concurrently engaged in veterinary drugs, including wholesale and retail companies or shops and enterprises engaged in import and export business. Veterinary drug enterprises must meet the following conditions: ① having veterinary drug technicians suitable for the veterinary drugs they operate; (2) Having business premises, equipment and storage facilities, etc. Adapted to the veterinary drugs it manages.

Veterinary drug enterprises shall go through the examination and approval procedures in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) Veterinary drug business enterprises owned by departments below the provincial level shall be examined and approved by the competent authorities, and shall be issued with veterinary drug business licenses after being examined and approved by the agricultural (animal husbandry) departments (bureaus) of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government; (two) the veterinary drug business enterprises owned by various departments of the city (prefecture) and county (district) shall be examined and approved by the competent department, and the veterinary drug business license shall be issued after examination and approval by the local agriculture (animal husbandry) bureau at the same level; (3) Veterinary drug operators (including individuals) below the county level shall be issued a Veterinary Drug Business License upon examination and approval by the county-level Agriculture (Animal Husbandry) Bureau; An enterprise engaged in the import and export of veterinary drugs shall be examined and approved by the foreign economic and trade administrative department of the State Council or the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government, and shall be issued a veterinary drug business license after being examined and approved by the agriculture (animal husbandry) department (bureau) of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government.

Veterinary drug business enterprises or individual veterinary drug operators shall apply to the local administration for industry and commerce for registration with the Veterinary Drug Business License, and obtain a business license after approval.

The validity period of the veterinary drug business license is 5 years, and the validity period of the veterinary drug business license of individual veterinary drug operators is 1 year, counting from the date of approval. "Veterinary drug business license" after the expiration of the need to apply for a new license, veterinary drug business enterprises should be within 6 months before the expiration, individual veterinary drug operators within 3 months before the expiration, with the original license to re apply. The procedure for reapplication is the same as that for initial application.

The administrative department of agriculture and animal husbandry that accepts the audit shall make a decision on whether to approve or not within 1 month after receiving all the application materials.
