The difference between brokers and investment banks

Brokerage is investment bank, which is short for investment bank. Investment banks are foreign names, such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and Merrill Lynch, and securities companies are domestic names, such as CITIC Securities, Huatai Securities and Oriental Fortune. Brokers and investment banks are mainly engaged in securities issuance, underwriting, trading, enterprise restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, investment analysis, venture capital and other businesses, which are simply financial intermediaries in the capital market.
