Wuxi is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, located in the south of Jiangsu Province, in the Yangtze River Delta Plain. It faces the Yangtze River in the north and Taihu Lake in the south, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through Wuxi.
East China is located in the east of China, including seven provinces and one city in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong and Taiwan Province. Except Taiwan Province Province, the administrative division codes of the other six provinces and one city all start with "3".
South China is located in the south of China, including Guangdong Province, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Hainan Province, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region.

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), and Jin counties merged and renamed Wuxi county, belonging to Suchang Road. In the Republic of China 16 (1927), Suchang Road was abandoned, and Wuxi County was directly under Jiangsu Province. From 23 to 26 years in the Republic of China (1934— 1937), he served as the resident of Wuxi Administrative Supervision District Commissioner's Office.
In the thirty-eighth year of the Republic of China (1949), Wuxi was liberated on April 23, and it was divided into Wuxi City and Wuxi County, both of which were in the same city. Wuxi belongs to the people's administrative office in southern Jiangsu.
1953, Jiangsu Province was established, and Wuxi City is a provincial city; Wuxi county has changed places many times, and once belonged to Changzhou District, Wuxi City and Suzhou District.
On August 25th, 1958, Wuxi County in Suzhou District was placed under the leadership of Wuxi City. 1962, Wuxi County was assigned to Suzhou District. 1in March, 983, the system of city governing counties was implemented, and Wuxi County, Jiangyin County, which originally belonged to Suzhou area, and Yixing County, which originally belonged to Zhenjiang area, were placed under the jurisdiction of Wuxi City.
Since 1987, Jiangyin County and Yixing County have been abolished successively, and Jiangyin City (1April 987) and Yixing City (1March 988) have been established. From 65438 to 0988, Mashan District was established in Mashan Town, including Mawei area. 1June, 995, Wuxi county was abolished and Xishan city was established in the original jurisdiction.
1In March, 1995, the administrative divisions of Wuxi City and Wuxi County were partially adjusted to form wuxi new district.
From June 5438 to February 2000, Xishan City was abolished and Xishan District and Huishan District were established. Cancel Mashan District, merge the administrative area of Mashan District and some towns (9 towns) in Xishan City into the suburbs of Wuxi City, and rename the suburbs as Binhu District.
