The difference between special purpose companies and overseas investment enterprises

The difference between the two companies is their different concepts and types.

Different concepts. A special purpose company refers to a legal entity established for a specific purpose; Enterprises with overseas investment refer to enterprises registered in countries or regions outside China.

Different types. Special purpose companies include limited liability companies and joint stock limited companies; Overseas investment enterprises include foreign-invested enterprises, enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan businessmen, joint-stock enterprises, partnerships and sole proprietorship enterprises.
