How many kinds of HPMC are there? What's the difference in use?

Provided by Sunock chemical company-

Classification:

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can be divided into instant type and hot-soluble type. Instant products: quickly disperse in cold water and disappear in water. At this time, the liquid has no viscosity, because HPMC is only dispersed in water and does not really dissolve. After about 2 minutes, the viscosity of the liquid gradually increased, forming a transparent and sticky colloid. Hot-melt products: when it meets cold water, it can quickly disperse in hot water and disappear in hot water. When the temperature drops to a certain temperature, the viscosity slowly appears until a transparent viscous colloid is formed. Hot melt molding can only be used for putty powder and mortar. In liquid glue and coatings, the phenomenon of conglomeration will occur, so it cannot be used. Instant hair style has a wide range of applications, which can be used in putty powder and mortar, liquid glue and paint, and there is no taboo.

Use:

1, cement mortar: improve the dispersibility of cement-sand and greatly improve the plasticity and water retention of mortar, which is effective for preventing cracks and strengthening cement strength.

2. Ceramic tile cement: improve the plasticity and water retention of pressed ceramic tile mortar, improve the cohesive force of ceramic tile and prevent pulverization.

3. Joint cement: added to the joint cement of gypsum board to improve fluidity and water retention.

4. Gypsum paste: improve water retention and processability, and improve the adhesion to the substrate.

5. Coating of asbestos and other refractory materials: As suspension stabilizer and fluidity improver, it can also improve the adhesion to the substrate.

6. Latex putty: improve the fluidity and water retention of putty based on resin latex.

7. Gypsum: As a paste replacing natural materials, it can improve water retention and adhesion to the substrate.

8. Coating: As a plasticizer of latex paint, it can improve the workability and fluidity of coating.

9. Spray painting: It has a good effect on preventing cement-based or latex-based spray fillers from sinking, improving fluidity and spray patterns.

10, secondary products of cement and gypsum: used as extrusion bonding agent for cement-asbestos series and other hydraulic substances to improve fluidity and obtain uniform molded products.

1 1. Fiber wall covering: Because of its anti-enzyme and anti-bacterial effects, it can be effectively used as an adhesive for sand walls.

12, others: it can be used as foam-retaining agent for dilute mortar and mud workers (PC version).
