Five hospitals 1 teaching units have more than 8,000 full-time students. The college offers 28 majors, including forestry technology, landscape technology, interior design technology, forest eco-tourism, construction engineering technology, computerized accounting, hotel management, electromechanical integration technology, biotechnology and its application, automobile inspection and maintenance, logistics management, environmental monitoring and management, e-commerce, art design and landscape design. Among them, there are 2 central key construction majors, 2 provincial education reform pilot majors, 5 "chutian skilled teachers" post setting majors and 3 provincial quality courses.
Adhering to the open school, the College cooperated with China Academy of Forestry, Beijing Forestry University, Taiwan Province Zhongzhou University of Science and Technology and other scientific research institutes (schools) to build professional and training rooms, and cooperated with more than 200 large enterprises such as Zhejiang Yuanzhou Group, Wuhan Katie Holding Group, Wuhan Evergreen Garden and Hubei Kang Xin Science and Technology Group to actively build a talent training mode of "order training and work-integrated learning" to create high-quality skilled professionals. The college attaches great importance to the employment of graduates. In the past three years, the average employment rate of graduates has reached over 93%. The college insists on taking higher vocational education as the main body, and at the same time cooperates with Huazhong Agricultural University, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and other universities to hold a "special edition" so that students can simultaneously obtain a nationally recognized undergraduate degree. In recent years, groups of outstanding graduates have passed the "College Entrance Examination" and entered undergraduate colleges such as Hubei University, Jianghan University, Yangtze University, Wuhan Institute of Technology and Hubei University of Technology for further study.
