With the development of national economy, the tire industry has put forward higher and higher requirements for the variety and quality of synthetic rubber. The overload and high-speed driving of automobiles require the tire compound to have higher strength, better wear resistance and flexibility, and lower calorific value. In addition, the improvement of pavement and the development of expressway have stricter requirements on the skid resistance, environmental protection and energy saving of tire rubber. It is hoped that tire rubber will have lower rolling resistance, which is beyond the reach of nickel rubber. Therefore, some countries have developed rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber on the basis of learning from China technology. 1988, Eni Company in Italy and Bayer Company in Germany successively realized the industrial production of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber, and quickly introduced the products to the world, forming the production capacity of six major brands of 654.38+10,000 tons. Rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber has been widely used in the sidewall and tread of original automobile tires, and its excellent performance has attracted worldwide attention.

With the development of radial tires, the demand for rare earth polybutadiene rubber in China is increasing. In order to develop rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber as soon as possible and seize the domestic market. Jinzhou Petrochemical Company and Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry reorganized their strength, and began to cooperate in the research and development of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber industrialization from 1997, and successfully carried out industrial trial production in 1998, producing 200 tons of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber. In the second industrial production in 2000, the problems existing in the production of 1998, such as wide molecular weight distribution, high viscosity of glue solution, difficult transportation and difficult control of Mooney caused by intermittent aging of catalyst, were greatly improved. The results show that the improved rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber process has the advantages of stable production, simple operation, flexible Mooney adjustment, high butadiene concentration and less catalyst consumption. 200 1 during the third industrial production, the production process was stable, and the catalyst cost was further reduced after the first successful start-up. Butanol is sometimes close to the level of nickel glue, energy consumption is also greatly reduced, and product quality is stable, exceeding the production level in 2000.

In 2004, Jinzhou Petrochemical Company produced rare earth cis-1,4 times in industrial plants, in which 1998, 2000, 200 1 and * * synthesized rare earth cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber 1700 tons, and completed a series of work such as synthetic manufacturing technology development, product molecular structure adjustment, product quality control and product processing application development. After gradual improvement, a set of advanced, mature and complete industrial production technology of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber has been formed. The mileage test results used in tire manufacturing show that the properties of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber produced by Jinzhou Petrochemical Company are better than those of similar products abroad.

At present, the production technology of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber in Jinzhou Petrochemical Company is improving day by day, and it can produce different brands of products with an annual output of 6.5438+0.5 million ~ 20,000 tons. In 2004, the global purchasing president of French Michelin Company came to Jinzhou Petrochemical Company to discuss the procurement of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber, and fully affirmed the products of Jinzhou Petrochemical Company.

At present, Liaoning Tire Group and Hualin Tire Co., Ltd. have officially used rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber produced by Jinzhou Petrochemical Company on the production line of imported radial tires, and achieved satisfactory results. Among them, Liaoning Tire Group's all-steel radial tire production line adopted the technology of British Deng Lupu Company, and Jinzhou Petrochemical Company's application of rare earth cis-polybutadiene rubber in this production line was officially recognized by Deng Lupu Company. The physical properties of sidewall rubber produced by replacing nickel-based cis-polybutadiene rubber with rare earth are obviously improved. Among them, the aging fatigue life of hot air is greatly improved, and the fatigue life of tires is increased by more than 50%. When applied to the crown compound of bias truck tire, the adhesive strength of the finished product increased by 28.75, the durability increased by 32.9%, the high speed increased by 54.2%, and the surface temperature decreased by more than 20 degrees.
