Driver, computer software term, refers to the program that drives the software in the computer. The full name of driver is device driver, which is a special program added to the operating system and contains information of hardware devices. This information enables the computer to communicate with the corresponding equipment. Drivers are configuration files written by hardware manufacturers according to the operating system. It can be said that without the driver, the hardware in the computer can't work.
