Second-rate companies do technology.
Third-rate companies do production.
In other words, first-class companies set industry technical standards and then other companies in the same industry can only develop and produce according to this standard. If they don't do this, they will die unless they set another standard (which will make them a first-class company).
Second-rate companies develop technology according to industry standards, and then arrange technology transformation production or use technology to collect patent fees from production enterprises.
Third-rate companies can only do production honestly, give large sums of money to first-rate and second-rate companies for patent fees, and then only collect meager profits. Now China is called the world factory, which means that most enterprises in China are third-rate manufacturers.
