Battery-safety is the premise and strong performance.

In terms of batteries, the "E 1 generation" battery pack has made great progress in fast charging performance and thermal runaway management. This process has experienced a very difficult exploration, but also sacrificed a small part of energy density and increased the cost of the battery. Various technical measures have been taken to stop plugging, prevent plugging, drain and prevent plugging of explosion-proof valves and aerogels, but the target requirements have finally been achieved.

While ensuring safety, the energy density of the battery system and the cruising range of the whole vehicle have also been improved. Specific to roewe r? On the ER6 model, according to Zhu Jun, the energy density of ER6' s R&D team using 523 battery has reached 1.80 WHR/kg, which is quite high and is in the first-class echelon of the industry.

Besides,? ER6' s test team has done the endurance test in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and other cities, and the maximum endurance has reached 650-660 kilometers. The coaxial layout of the motor skillfully improves many performances.

SAIC has made great innovation achievements in motor technology. Roewe r? The "e 1 generation" drive motor carried by ER6 skillfully optimizes the problem of heavy weight and large volume of the previous generation "E0" motor through "coaxial layout configuration", and further improves the motor efficiency.

By making the output shaft of the motor hollow, nesting a bearing on the surface of the hollow shaft, and then putting a thin shaft in this bearing, the outer hollow shaft and the inner solid shaft rotate in a relationship of about 10 without interfering with each other, thus making full use of the space around the semi-shaft, realizing the compactness of the motor layout, further improving the space utilization rate and improving the efficiency of the electric drive system.

In addition, the improvement of motor efficiency is largely due to the design of 8-layer hairpin winding, which is more advanced than the motor equipped on Volkswagen MEB platform. At present, the driving motors on the market generally adopt double-layer hairpin flat wire windings, which are arranged into two groups of four layers from top to bottom. This technology has the disadvantages of obvious heating and low efficiency when the motor speed is too high.

And roewe r? ER6 drive motor adopts 8-layer hairpin winding design. Compared with the former, the range of motor efficiency ≥90% is increased from 83% to 88%, which expands the range of efficient motor operation. Under the same conditions, the manufacturer's test results show that the average power consumption of NEDC decreases from 13.8kWh/ 100km to 12.2kWh/ 100km, which is more than1.5%.

Electronic control-at all costs, move towards the goal of ASPICE-3.
