That day, this day

That day, this day

Geng yanqin

On that day, it was pear blossoms everywhere. There are songbirds singing and falling on the eaves of houses with red walls and yellow tiles. Clear and pure blue sky, with clean auspicious clouds to relax and disperse. The soft morning light warms the book in your hand through the red lattice wooden window.

On that day, I wore a plain clothes gown and walked up the stairs to pay tribute to your persistent obsession.

Master Fazun, in the face of your persistent wisdom and penetrating dharma body, I would like to be a butter lamp, a tea root in front of the lotus tower, and spend a quiet time with you while slowly burning, bearing in mind your lifelong regret and indifference to Buddha like a cool breeze and bright moon, and melting the secular distractions that I shouldn't stay in my heart.

On that day, at the age of 17, you waved goodbye to your old house and went to Baoding, the capital of Zhili, to make a living. It never occurred to you that when you return to your hometown, you will have this grand and solemn hall alone in the form of a statue. The hall was empty, and the echo surrounded the beam. I know you won't be alone. The sacred mountain and snow country behind you has already enriched its heart into an infinitely broad and profound Buddhist world. There are more than three lives, and flowers bloom and fall again.

On that day, you quietly bid farewell to Baoding and walked on the westbound road day and night. Who told you that Tathagata lived in the mountains in the west? Who told you that Wutai Mountain could be your spiritual home?

On that day, the enlightenment of Master Yong let you know that besides chanting scriptures, monks also have vital interests such as translating scriptures, presiding over Buddhism and promoting Buddhism. So, you follow Master Dayong and listen to Master Taixu's Hokkekyo in Guangji Temple. In Fayuan Temple, the Babutou Taoist priest personally shaved you and received the precepts, and then went to Nanjing Baohuashan to learn the precepts. Do you think listening to the classics will have a stronger flavor than learning to quit and arrange shifts to do the land-water flame method?

On that day, you bid farewell to Baohua Mountain and came to Wuchang Buddhist College to study Buddhist classics systematically. Here, Master Taixu is the dean, Mr. Liang Qichao is the chairman, Zhang Taiyan, a master of Chinese studies, gives lectures in person, and the philosophy master who returned from studying abroad expounds religious philosophy. Courses include history, ethics, psychology, biology, astronomy, geography, as well as foreign language courses such as English and Japanese. Because of your superior memory and understanding, you have the reputation of "walking dictionary" and "little wizard"

On that day, New Youth from Beijing came to the Buddhist College, accompanied by Tagore, a literary master. You exchange philosophy, religion and culture with them, so your world has the concepts of new youth, new culture, science and democracy. You are not tempted by the tantric teachings that some people have tasted. You should learn Dharma in a down-to-earth manner, study Buddhism in detail, clear the dust in the curtain, and follow Master Yong to Tibet to learn Dharma.

On that day, when you stayed at Worry-Free Temple, You Daiyue glanced at the Biography of the South China Sea, and was moved by the spirit of the sages who sought the Dharma without fear of sacrifice, and wrote: I think that China's Buddhist scriptures were obtained by sacrificing countless lives and property, painstaking efforts and sweat, and enduring countless pains, anxieties, sorrows and tears. In other words: I think every word and every picture in these scriptures is a mixture of a drop of blood and a drop of tears. ................................................................................................................... ................................. When I read those two poems, my eyes must be red, because my tears are about as big as grapes ... I really dare not despise the sages, and I really dare not relax for the cause of enlightenment. However, I envy Qianjue's great compassion and fearless spirit, and I also want to sacrifice everything to learn Qianjue. I am willing to learn and translate all Tibetan Buddhist classics that are not available in the mainland. In particular, I would like to add a collection of laws translated by the I ching master ... even the geography, history, technology, medicine, politics, literature and art of the world, I also have a desire to learn.

From Jiading to Ya 'an, and then hit the arrow furnace, Happy Mountain, Xikang, Ganzi, Dege, Changdu and Tibet, go all the way well and ask the teacher for advice. You have developed a special belief in Tibetan Buddhism: because you see things that you can't see in the mainland. In particular, the organization and establishment of the book On Bodhi Daoji is a treasure that I never dreamed of. I feel that the will to seek dharma has finally achieved some results. Even if you die in Xikang, there will be no regrets and regrets.

You wrote in "Tibet I have been to": "The mountains and rivers, the deep rivers and valleys, the ice and snow, the desolate Yuan Ye, etc. I personally walked through. , has been deeply imprinted in my mind, has flooded my heart. In that storm, I had to wash my hands three times to find firewood and water to cook for myself-I lived in the most bitter environment, the most miserable environment and the most miserable environment.

On that day, you filled a pot of cold water with a big clay pot. When you sleep at night, you put it on a clay pot full of cow dung and cover it with some rags to keep out the cold. The cow dung smoke in the earthen pot gradually smoked it and even cooked it. I got up the next morning and poured a little to wash my face. Among the rest, I put a handful of coarse tea and half a handful of salt, recited the class all morning, and then took out a wooden bowl, half a small pocket, a piece of ghee and a few slices of raw radish for breakfast. After dinner, go to the teacher's office to wait for classes and attend classes. I came back at noon, drank a few cups of leftover tea, rubbed a bowl of rice cakes, and went to class again in the afternoon. Help yourself to something in the evening, even if it takes a whole day. Although life is embarrassing, I am very happy, even reading and writing books, so happy that I forget to sleep. Be indifferent to food, clothing, housing and transportation and learn to read classics. This is the life you want.

The guru is going to class. On the first day and the second day of the course, the scholar should be asked to answer. The pronunciation of the guru's questions will drop, and you will answer them immediately, and every answer is correct. The guru had to tell him in advance before asking questions: "Don't answer the questions of the Han Lama, let others answer them." When you study hard, your lessons will be translated immediately. No matter you study two or three courses a day, you won't put it down until you finish translating, or you won't be able to sleep at night.

During your nine years in Tibet, you paid attention to the investigation and exchange of Sino-Tibetan culture, and visited and met many people who are committed to communicating Sino-Tibetan relations. You and Li, an old Buddhist who studied Buddhism in Tibet, talked about the inconsistency between writing and language, lamenting that China has been governing Tibet for hundreds of years, and there has never been a complete Sino-Tibetan law and dictionary, but Britain and Japan have published it again and again, which is not worthy of death and is also a shame. The old monk made a great wish to compile a Tibetan-Chinese dictionary to explain the pronunciation and meaning of Tibetan words in Chinese, and to compile another Chinese-Tibetan dictionary to explain the pronunciation and meaning of Chinese words in Tibetan in the future. You were deeply moved by the brave and diligent spirit of the old layman and the spirit of benefiting the country and the people, and strengthened your confidence in communicating the cultural exchanges between China and Tibet.

On that day, you received a letter from Master Taixu, saying that the Sino-Tibetan Institute of Religious Science was established in Chongqing and asked you to go back and preside over the school affairs. Before you left Tibet, you visited the old mage Gus Gedenteba. The master revealed as follows: Even if you win the first place in Gedi Temple among the three major temples, you will gradually rise to Gedensiba. Like me, you have a pholiota adiposa on your head. This is also a dry pseudonym, which is not very good for Buddhism. Now, you should go back and translate Master Zong Kaba's "The First Theory of Bodhi Daoism" and build a Dharma Building in your Han Dynasty. You keep Master's teachings firmly in mind.

It was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and you reported to Master Taixu in Chongqing Sino-Tibetan Institute of Religious Sciences as the acting dean, in charge of teaching and hospital affairs, giving lectures for three hours every day, and at the same time translating and revising books such as The Most Extensive Theory of Bodhi Daoism. Under the guidance of Taixu, the teaching of Hanyuan Academy soon embarked on the track of stable development.

On that day, you went to Tibet for the second time to meet Anton Gus. When you were filled with joy and ready to meet Anton Gus, Anton Gus died in the Rongbo Temple in Xu Na. You almost fainted under the smell of the letter! Are all beings not blessed? How many obstacles are there between Buddhism and Huqi? On the way from Nanyang to India and Tibet, I suffered a lot of trauma, my feet were swollen and I became lame. At first, I relied on my joy to maintain it. Today, I was born with pain and trouble. However, although he was ill, he didn't die!

On that day, when you returned to Chongqing Sino-Tibetan Academy of Education, you felt that you had not met a teacher. You should do your own thing, with harder shoulders and straight waist. Sense of responsibility is getting stronger and stronger. You live in Shuangbai Jingshe, a college. Every day, in addition to two regular classes for ordinary and special students, you have to explain the commandments and secret methods to other magicians, and then you keep translating. The translation of any books, courses and post-study that are of practical benefit to Buddhism should be regarded as a responsibility.

On that day, you wore a red Lama costume and a yellow hat, with a serious expression and unsmiling face. First, you lead the students to read Ode to Tibet three times, and then you begin to speak. Explain word for word, paragraph by paragraph, and then summarize the general idea, be careful and clear, speak Mandarin in the north. Quote interesting cases and give a hearty laugh. The students laughed out loud.

On that day,1February 4, 938, you publicly published a letter to students all over the world, pointing out that although China's war of resistance against Japan was for its own survival, it was actually to protect the human beings all over the world ... Buddhism is the most peaceful religion in the world, and there are many ways to stop the war of aggression, whether in Mahayana or revealing the law. There are probably two principles: one is to stop the war with virtue. You ask students to love their country and teach, and to be as hardworking and brave as an empty bodhisattva. The students put on yellow round uniforms, yellow military hats without eaves and badges on their chests to participate in the training, and they were very nervous from morning till night. Known as the "patriotic monk".

On that day, you will personally preside over the compilation of Tibetan Grammar, Tibetan Reader, Tibetan National Politics and Education History, Modern Tibet, Tibet I have been to, A Record of Jinyun Mountain, and translate 200 books, On Goodness in China, Revealing Meanings, and On Great Bodhi Daoism-tantric Taoism.

On that day, the first National People's Congress was held in Beijing, and you were responsible for the Tibetan translation of documents. When the Dalai Lama came to Beijing, you acted as an interpreter for Premier Zhou. Premier Zhou was very satisfied with your work and presented a golden seal as a reward. The Dalai Lama gave it a Swiss gold watch and pen.

On that day, China Buddhist College was established, and you served as the dean. Master Zhengguo respectfully invites you to become a monk and give you the foot ring of the first Buddhist monk after the Cultural Revolution. You promised, and you prepared yourself.

On that day,1980 65438+February 14, Buddhist directors from all over the country gathered in Beijing. Star colleagues and classmates, as well as Li Taoren, all came to visit Master. You received the guests with great excitement. 1 1 half past one, the song is over, and you are writing at your desk as usual. At 0: 45 p.m./kloc-0: 00, the pen fell from the master's hand to the ground, and you unhurriedly bent down to pick it up. When you got the pen, you smiled, but your body leaned and showed silence-

This year, the master was seventy-nine and fifty-nine.

On that day, at the memorial service for the mage, Zhao Puchu sang Long song and wept bitterly, and made outstanding achievements in his life. And vowed to follow the mage to bury Wutai Mountain a hundred years later.

On that day, the people of Shenzhou vowed to build a memorial hall in the master's hometown. At that time, the reaction of mage students and all monks in Buddhism was the same. Since then, Nanzhoubao Village in Shenzhou has built a magnificent hall of Buddha statues in Tibetan Buddhism style. The blue brick screen outlines the path of seeking dharma and spreading dharma that the mage has taken all his life. On the top floor of the high-rise brand, the words "Turning over the Shaman's Hometown" and "Fazun Master Memorial Hall" are written. There are seven instruments and Buddhist walls donated by believers in the square. The mountain gate, the main hall and the memorial hall of Master Fazun are lined up from south to north. The wind blew, and the bronze bells swayed with the wind, crisp and ethereal.

This day

On June 5438+February 65438+March, 2020, Hengshui Shenzhou held a symposium to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the death of Fazun master "Fan Jing Saman" and the118th birthday. * * Nearly 50 people from Hebei, Shanxi, Chongqing and other places attended the commemorative activities.

On this day, I, a plainclothes gown, stood in front of you silently, thinking about the hardships on your way to Tibet, thinking about your pleasure in listening to classic translations, and knowing that you must be a person living in faith.
