Nanjing is an important comprehensive industrial production base in China. Nanjing ranks fourth in the "Best Commercial City in Chinese mainland 100 in 2008", seventh in the "Comprehensive Strength of China City" published by the National Bureau of Statistics, and second in the evaluation of the sustainable development level of cities in the Yangtze River Delta. It won the UN Habitat Award and the 2008 China Habitat Environment Award, and recently won the title of "National Civilized City" and just won the title of "2000".
