LK is the second largest coordinate measuring machine manufacturer in the world. Since 1963, it has been manufacturing coordinate measuring machines for 56 years, and only focuses on the research and development, manufacturing, sales and service of high-end coordinate measuring machines.
LK's market share in China is not high, mainly concentrated in high-end manufacturing industries such as automobile powertrain and aero-engine. Its influence may not be as good as that of Hexagon, Zeiss or even Wensel, but its product quality is high and its technology is close to that of Zeiss, but higher than that of Hexagon and Wensel. As friends on the first floor said, LK has always been a technical leader in the measuring machine industry. It's just that China's market is not good enough. After a series of acquisitions, there have been some fluctuations in the past 20 years.
Fortunately, LK was separated from Nikon Group on 20 18 and renamed LK METROLOGY Ltd, which is the British LK METROLOGY Co., Ltd., and it will have a very good development prospect in the future. I believe LK can start from a "niche high-end brand", constantly expand its influence and user base, and better promote the development of the measuring machine industry.
