Incident Impact of Pollution Incident in Dalian Sea Area of PetroChina

Jinshitan National Tourism Resort is located in the east of Dalian, 58 kilometers away from the old city. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot and was formally established on 1992. The "Gold Coast" bathing beach that the reporter arrived at that day is the largest bathing beach in Golden Stone Beach and one of the national 15 healthy bathing beaches. However, today's gold coast will be described as "black gold". In the line of sight, the reporter can see at least five or six oil pollution belts all over the sea, each with an area of about 4 to 10 square meter. Looking out from the observation deck about 1 km away from the Gold Coast, the reporter found that some oil pollution belts have been concentrated by the sea breeze and connected in series into a long black belt, which is obviously separated from the light gray seawater, while others are scattered near rocks and beaches.

According to local people, the rapid spread of crude oil is related to seawater movement and local climate. Because it is summer, the south wind usually blows in Dalian this season, and the wind is stronger in recent days, and the ocean current movement is bigger than usual. So some crude oil that used to wander in the middle of the sea was quickly blown to many coasts in Dalian.

The "716" fire accident is a serious production safety responsibility accident and a major environmental pollution incident. The monitoring results of Chinese sea surveillance ship on July 9, 65438 13: 30 show that the polluted sea area is about 430 square kilometers, of which the heavily polluted sea area is about 12 square kilometers and the generally polluted sea area is about 52 square kilometers. Oil spill poses a great threat to seawater quality, ecosystem and marine life in Dalian Bay.

Greenpeace, an international environmental protection organization, pointed out that there are great health and safety hazards in both the process of cleaning up oil pollution and the coordination between aquaculture and tourism in the surrounding areas.

At 65438+1October 24th 16: 00, the oil depot of Dalian PetroChina International Storage and Transportation Co., Ltd. caught fire again.
