How to calculate the profit percentage

The calculation formula of profit percentage, that is, profit rate = (income-cost) ÷ income; Cost profit rate = profit/cost ×100%; Sales profit rate = profit/sales ×100%; If P' stands for profit rate and c stands for all prepaid capital (c+v), then profit rate P'= M/C = M/(C+V). The ratio of all prepaid capital to surplus value is the profit rate, that is, the degree of capital proliferation. Profit rate is a relative index, which can reflect the profit level generated by enterprises in a certain period and is the transformation form of surplus value rate. It can examine and verify the completion of the company's profit plan, and at the same time, it can compare the management level between companies and in different operating periods, thus improving economic benefits.

There are three main factors that determine and affect the profit rate: surplus value rate, organic composition of capital and capital turnover rate, and the profit rate can be said to be the profit rate. Therefore, other things being equal, if the surplus value rate becomes higher, the profit rate will also become higher; On the other hand, if the surplus value rate becomes lower, then the profit rate will also become lower. When the organic composition of capital becomes higher, the profit rate will decrease accordingly; If the organic composition of capital becomes lower, the profit rate will increase accordingly; If the capital turnover speed is accelerated, the annual surplus value rate will increase, and the annual profit rate will also increase.
