School of Environment and Ecology enrolls students for water supply and drainage project 1955, environmental engineering 1985, environmental science 1986, and environmental ecological engineering 20 13. It is one of the earliest departments in China to establish water supply and drainage science and engineering, environmental science, environmental engineering and environmental ecological engineering.
At present, it is a cooperative construction unit of national superior specialty, national outstanding engineer training program specialty and national engineering education practice base. 20 19 was selected as the first batch of national first-class professional construction sites.
Professional training:
The trained talents serve the fields of water resources protection and utilization, urban water supply and drainage, building water supply and drainage and fire fighting, industrial water treatment, urban water system and other aspects related to urban construction, such as smart water, water safety, water ecology and water environment. In recent years, graduates have been in short supply.
More than 50% graduates choose to go to graduate school and go abroad for further study, and most of them go to Tsinghua, Peking University, Tongji University, Harbin Institute of Technology and other universities for further study, which has become a popular choice for graduates of this major.
