Faced with the severe external environment of the current plunge in oil prices, the overall economic downturn and the downturn in the chemical industry market, Yan 'an Nenghua Company kept a close eye on the market, seized the opportunity, adhered to the idea of "changing production and upgrading" of polypropylene products, made every effort to make progress in the crisis and grasped the initiative of development.
This is the first time that the polypropylene plant of Yan 'an Energy and Chemical Company has produced a product with a melting index greater than 60, which is quite difficult to produce. It is a double test of technology and equipment to optimize and upgrade the product in a short time and raise the melting index to above 70.
In order to successfully complete the task of changing production, the company set up a key research team for changing production, and all technicians adhered to the front line to monitor the operation of the device in real time. Due to the large span of melting fingers, the fluidity of raw materials and the easy winding of knives in the production process, the extrusion granulator stops. The research group judges all risks in advance, formulates the operation plan, and adjusts the relevant parameters of the extrusion granulator in time according to the transition time. After 8 hours of hard work, the qualified K 1860 pellets were produced at one time. Subsequently, the research group carefully adjusted the parameters, completed the product index upgrade, and produced K 1870 pellets at one time. At present, the polypropylene plant is producing stably with a full load of 43 tons per hour. K 1860 and K 1870 produced more than 200 tons and more than 2,400 tons of qualified products respectively.
It is reported that K 1870 product has the characteristics of high fluidity and high strength, and its typical application is injection molding, which is used to manufacture thin-walled injection-molded products, such as disposable lunch boxes, milk tea cups, restaurant packaging, take-out and supermarket food packaging.
