Yuan Maozhen, a professor-level senior engineer, was born in June 1946+00. He is currently the Party Secretary and Chairman of China Southern Power Grid Corporation.
He has served as factory director and power supply director, deputy director of Shandong Electric Power Industry Bureau, party secretary and general manager of Southern Company of State Power Corporation.
At the end of 2002, he held his current position. He has been employed as a visiting researcher at the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences, a special researcher at the Development Research Center of the Guangdong Provincial Government, and a visiting professor at South China University of Technology.
