Brief introduction of Jinhua county

Jinhua county has a long history. Changshan (county) was built in the third year of Chuping in the Eastern Han Dynasty (A.D. 192), and was renamed Jinhua in the eighteenth year of Huang Kai (A.D. 598). It has a history of more than 1800 years, and it has been the residence of counties, prefectures, States, counties and prefectures in past dynasties. The two mountains are opposite each other, with flat hills in the middle, criss-crossing rivers and streams, and convenient transportation.

Jinhua is known as a country of culture, with talented people, bright stars and numerous literati. Jinhua has a wide range of scenic tourism resources, including Song Chi, the world-famous fairy land of Wong Tai Sin. The fourth largest Buddha in China-the Millennium Temple; Jiufeng Mountain, a secluded place in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, Tangxi Town God Temple in the south of the Yangtze River, Yuan Xian Lake, Langfeng Mountain and other scenic spots and the National Shuanglong Scenic Area constitute the famous tourist attractions in central Zhejiang. Jinhua County is located in the west of central Zhejiang Province, bordering Yiwu in the east, Wuyi and Suichang in the south, Longyou in the west, Lanxi in the north and Wucheng District in the middle. The two mountains are opposite to each other, and the hills and plains alternate with each other in the middle, which is the corridor topography of two mountains and one river. The river belongs to Qiantang River system. Qujiang flows through the northwest, Jinhua River and its upstream Yiwu River and Wuyi River cross the east and west. It has a unique geographical location, bordering Fujian and Jiangxi, controlling Cangnan and Hangzhou, and is a transportation hub in central Zhejiang. The hilly red soil in the territory fluctuates and the land is fertile. It belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with four distinct seasons and moderate temperature all year round, but it is prone to drought and flood.
