Brief introduction of Kowloon-Canton Railway Company

The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) is a shell company wholly owned by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Since February 24, 2007 1982 12 (about 25 years), the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation has been responsible for operating one of the railway networks in Hong Kong, as well as operating freight business and managing its property. After the merger of the two railways, all the business of the company was transferred to the Hong Kong Railway Company Limited, so there is no business at present. The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation only continued to lease the remaining property assets after the merger. In 2008, the rental income was only HK$ 6,543.82 billion, and the four-story property of Liancheng Plaza was rented out by Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation in early February 2008.
