The climate in this area belongs to continental semi-arid area with insufficient humidity. The annual rainfall is mainly affected by spring, autumn and winter winds, and there is less rain. Gullies and ridges in the whole region alternate with each other, criss-crossing. Gullies and valleys are mostly V-shaped, and ridges are mostly fish ridges and steamed buns, showing the landform of eroded low mountains and hills.
