On the Source and Motivation of China's Reforms in Past Dynasties

Why did modern China's civilization decline out of control? The exploration of countless outstanding Chinese sons and daughters found that it was rooted in China's agricultural civilization and feudal autocracy. First, the relatively closed geography and advanced civilization, especially the boasting of feudal dynasties, made the ancients form a kind of "self-centered" concept, boasting that "China is rich in products and ubiquitous", cutting off the communication and contact with the world, thus making China closed, conservative and backward. Secondly, China's feudal autocracy led to the loss of national freedom spirit and the suppression of creativity. Closure and autocracy are two malignant tumors in the gradual decline of Chinese civilization, while the decline of openness and freedom spirit are two major factors in the decline of Chinese civilization, and they are the giants of the rise of modern western civilization. Therefore, in a sense, the decline of Chinese civilization is the decline of institutional ideology and the decline of the spirit of freedom and openness. In the prosperous Tang Dynasty, China became a world-class country, so the sense of openness and the spirit of freedom became very important, which was lacking and gradually lost by its dynasties. The significance and value of these two spirits were not re-recognized by the people of China until after the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, and were finally used and mastered by the people of China, which brought great gospel to the construction of China and kicked off the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
