What is the strategic planning of project management?

Project management strategic planning refers to the enterprise strategy formulated by the top management of the enterprise, with the goal of managing all the projects of the enterprise well. To put it simply, the strategic planning of enterprise project management is to establish a set of standard methods of enterprise project management, and integrate them with the business processes of enterprises to form an operation management system with project management as the core.

Project management methods and business processes cooperate with each other and are optimized in practice, which will increase the probability of enterprise project success in an all-round way, and at the same time make relevant departments of the enterprise project-oriented and keep pace.

The primary task of strategic planning of enterprise project management is to establish or clarify the methods and processes of enterprise project management. Figure 1 is the basic framework of project management method.

The second task of enterprise project management strategic planning is to combine project management methods with enterprise business processes and establish business processes with project management as the core.
