Hejian is a traditional main grain and cotton producing area, with rich varieties of crops and steady growth of grain output year after year. The pace of industrialization has accelerated, forming industries with distinctive advantages such as cotton, livestock and poultry, vegetables and fruits. The cable industry has three production lines: "Hui You" China well-known trademark, Baofeng National Enterprise Technology Center and 1 10-750KV UHV cable tower. The new thermal insulation and sealing material industry has formed seven series, including aluminum silicate, rock wool and glass wool, with hundreds of models and thousands of specifications. The auto parts industry has 120 large enterprises and 1 professional markets, and deals in tens of thousands of auto parts products of various specifications. Kerry Chemical has become a leader in domestic petrochemical additives. Hejian Economic and Technological Development Zone has a planned area of 7.8 square kilometers, and hejian city Industrial Park has a planned area of 18 square kilometers.
