China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Group is directly controlled by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), and has the qualification of national general contracting enterprise, the right to contract and operate foreign projects, the right to import and export trade and AAA credit rating. It has 16 engineering bureaus all over the country. Water and Power Bureau is located in Hangzhou, with relatively weak strength and serious brain drain.
20 16 China Water Conservancy and Hydropower has been formally merged with State Grid Hydropower Consulting Group and auxiliary enterprises, and officially renamed as China Electric Power Construction Group Co., Ltd., referred to as China Electric Power Construction.
