Established in 1966, China 19th Metallurgical Industry Co., Ltd. is the only large-scale comprehensive construction enterprise in China with the whole process construction capability from mining to profile and plate metallurgy.
In recent years, it has been continuously rated as a provincial quality and safety standard demonstration enterprise and a national engineering quality trustworthy enterprise, and it has been rated as a provincial contract-abiding and credit-abiding enterprise for 10 years. On this basis, in 2003, it was also recommended by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as a national contract-abiding and credit-abiding enterprise.

China Nineteen Metallurgical Construction Company, now China Nineteen Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd., was incorporated by China Nineteen Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. and merged with China Metallurgical Nineteen Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Metallurgical Science and Technology Co., Ltd. The company is registered in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, and its operation and command center is in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, referred to as "China Nineteen Metallurgical Group".
