Who will pay the taxes of the Three Gorges Group?

Chongqing Municipal People's Government. China Three Gorges Group Co., Ltd. was established with the approval of the State Council on September 27th, 1993. The tax paid by the company shall be left to the local governments in accordance with the law and distributed to the people's governments of Hubei Province and Chongqing Municipality to support the construction of the Three Gorges reservoir area and the protection of the ecological environment. The specific measures shall be formulated by the Ministry of Finance in conjunction with relevant departments and implemented after being submitted to the State Council for approval.
