Major oil producing areas in China.

The main oil-producing areas in China are Karamay Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield, Daqing Oilfield, Tarim Oilfield and Jianghan Oilfield.

1, Karamay oilfield is the first large-scale oilfield discovered after the liberation of China 1955. "Karamay" is a transliteration of Uyghur "Black Oil", named after the discovery of Karamay oil field. It is now a natural asphalt mountain in the eastern corner of Karamay City-Black Oil Mountain.

Xinjiang Oilfield is the first large-scale oilfield developed and constructed after the founding of New China. Its crude oil output ranks fourth in onshore oil fields in China, and has maintained steady growth for 25 consecutive years, with accumulated oil production exceeding 200 million tons.

2. Changqing Oilfield was established in April 1970, and its headquarters is located in Xi, Shaanxi Province. It is the largest oil and gas field in China. The exploration area is mainly in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Basin, with a total exploration area of about 370,000 square kilometers.

The exploration, development and construction of oil and gas started at 1970, and 22 oil and gas fields were discovered successively, including 19 oil field, with a cumulative proven oil and gas geological reserve of 541888 million tons (including proven natural gas reserves of 233.008 billion cubic meters, including converted crude oil reserves).

3. Daqing Oilfield was discovered in 1959 and put into development in 1960. It is the largest oil field in China and one of the few super-large continental sandstone oil fields in the world. The oilfield is located in the middle and west of Heilongjiang Province, in the north of Songnen Plain, and consists of Sarthou, Xingshugang, Lamadian, Chaoyanggou and Hailaer oil and gas fields.

The domestic exploration scope includes the northern Songliao basin, Yishu and other peripheral basins, Hailaer basin in Inner Mongolia, Tadong block in Xinjiang, and mining right transfer block in Chongqing, Sichuan, etc. Overseas business covers the Middle East, Central Asia, Asia-Pacific, Africa and America.

4. Tarim Oilfield is located in the Taklimakan Desert in the west of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which is rich in oil and natural gas reserves. Due to the continuous development and expansion of its role in China's energy structure, Tarim Oilfield is called the energy economic artery of western China by economists.

By the end of 2065438+March 2009, Hotan River Gas Field has supplied more than 3 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the deep poverty-stricken areas in China.

5. Jianghan Oilfield is located in Jianghan Plain and headquartered in Guanghua Town, Qianjiang City, Hubei Province. It is adjacent to Hanshui River in the north, the Yangtze River in the south, Wuhan 150km in the east and Jingzhou 60km in the west, with superior geographical position and convenient traffic conditions.

By the end of 2009, there were 32,500 employees, with total assets of 2/kloc-0.20 billion yuan, and accumulated production of 5 1.26 million tons of crude oil and 6,543.80+0.896 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

After more than 40 years of development and construction, Jianghan Oilfield has developed into an important oil and gas exploration and development base, engineering technical service base and petroleum machinery and equipment manufacturing base in southern China, and its brine chemical industry, scientific research and design, auxiliary production and community service also have a certain scale and strength.
