Brief Introduction of Polish 7TP Light Tank
Poland 7TP light tank 1928 The British company Vickers-Armstrong produced six tons of E-type tanks. 193 1 year, Poland bought 50 vehicles. The British army didn't use six tons of E-tanks, and Vickers Company sold them to Bolivia, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Japan, Portugal, Romania, the Soviet Union (from which T-26 tanks were developed) and Thailand (Siam). E-type tanks for sale include MarkA and MarkB models. 16 models A and 22 models B were delivered at 1932 and 1933 respectively, and the rest were repaid by transferring production licenses and providing spare parts. The Type A with two turrets was equipped with Hotchkiss 7.92mm wz.25 machine gun, which was later replaced by Browning 7.92mm wz.30 machine gun. The single turret type B is equipped with a 47mm Vickers-Armstrong machine gun and a Browning 7.92mm wz.30 machine gun. The main disadvantage is that the Cederin engine of this tank is easy to overheat. After testing, the Poles decided to improve the six-ton E-tank and develop their own tanks on this basis. This new tank development plan is called VAU-33 (X-Armstrong-Uther-33), including single turret (jw) and double turret (dw).
