What are the equity valuation methods?

There are many methods of valuation, which can be divided into many categories according to different classification standards. Theoretically speaking, vc (Venture Capital) and PE (Private Equity Investment) methods for valuing potential investment projects are mainly divided into three categories: the first category is the asset-based method, that is, the method of valuing all assets and liabilities of the target enterprise item by item, including replacement cost method and liquidation value method. The second category is relative value method, which mainly adopts multiplier method, which is relatively simple, such as price-earnings ratio, price-book ratio, price-book ratio, PEG, EV/EBITDA and other evaluation methods. The third category is income discount method, including FCFF, FCFE and EVA discount method. For different types of investments, the valuation methods are different.
