The company was formerly a Sino-foreign joint venture established by Taizhou Refrigerator Factory and Hong Kong Zhongshan Co., Ltd. on 1989 1993, and was transformed into a public joint-stock company. 1in March, 1994, Jiangsu Chunlan Refrigeration Co., Ltd., Taizhou Chunlan Special Air Conditioning Factory and Taizhou Chunlan Refrigeration Equipment Sales Company jointly initiated the establishment of this company.
