The former two presidents of the Chamber of Commerce were Mr. Shen Beizhang, Chairman of Shanghai International (USA) Group Co., Ltd., and the current president is Mr. Zhang Liyong, Senior Consultant of China Ocean Shipping North America Company. The vice presidents of the Chamber of Commerce are Bank of China new york Branch and China Construction USA Company. In addition to the chairman and vice chairman, the executive directors of the Chamber of Commerce include China International Airlines new york Office, Bank of Communications new york Branch, China Mineral Metals Company, Shanghai International Group Company, Marlboro International Enterprise Group Company, Witt Group Company of the United States, Baosteel Americas Trading Company and Guangtong Telecom Company. Member units cover ten major industries such as electronics, machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, hardware, minerals, grain, oil and food, clothing, shoes and hats, toys and handicrafts, including public, joint-stock and private enterprises. It has also formed a complete commercial chain from manufacturing, export, import, wholesale, finance, insurance, land, sea and air transportation, warehousing, advertising, exhibition and consulting.
