Sirius, owned by Arabian-American Oil Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Oil Company, was launched in March this year and is considered to be the second largest crude oil carrier in the world.

Second only to the 310.8 million dwt VLCC Huashan built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company for Singapore Ocean Tanker Co., Ltd.
