Zhao Lei, deputy of Beijing Municipal People's Congress and head of Tongzhou District, revealed in an interview with Beiqing Daily reporter on the sidelines of the Third Session of the 15th National People's Congress that Tongzhou will focus on the layout of high-tech industries. 32 central enterprises including Beijing Capital Venture Group Co., Ltd., Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. and Beijing Water Supply Group Co., Ltd. will all move into Tongzhou.
Central enterprises are wholly state-owned or state-owned holding enterprises directly managed by the Central People's Government, the State Council or state-owned assets supervision and administration institutions, and their leading bodies are entrusted by the Central Organization Department, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council or other central ministries. Central enterprises include central enterprises, central cultural enterprises and central financial enterprises.
