Yang Yunchun, its chairman and general manager, further stated that the production capacity of the Beijing factory in the second half of last year was 5,000 pieces/month, and the total output was more than 4,000 pieces. Starting the production line step by step from scratch requires a process.
Zhang Abin, Director General of Semitronics, said that the MEMS production line under the company belongs to mixed production. On the one hand, different products are produced at the same time on the same production line; On the other hand, process development and wafer manufacturing are also carried out simultaneously on the same production line. The main reason for the low capacity utilization rate is that the growth rate of wafer manufacturing business is lower than the growth rate of new capacity, because even if the order of process development business is full, it is difficult to greatly improve the utilization rate of the whole production line.
For filter products, Yang Yunchun said that BAW and FBAR filters are currently in the stage of process development and verification, and the development and verification of several products are in progress, which is expected to come out one after another this year.
Regarding the market situation, Zhang Abin said that the information fed back by the client has indeed been affected and impacted by the overall epidemic situation in the consumer electronics and automotive electronics industries, and will naturally be transmitted upwards to the procurement and production arrangements of basic components. The company will continue to broaden the types and application fields of wafer products and continue to promote the increase of production capacity.
