Tian Jiabing, a philanthropist, entrepreneur and scholar of Bauhinia University, known as "the father of China's top 100 schools", died at the age of 99. The SAR Government and all walks of life in Hong Kong deeply mourn and miss him, and extend deep condolences to his family. Tian Jiabing Foundation will hold a memorial service, and only family members will attend the funeral.

Tian Jiabing (1919-2018 July 10), an entrepreneur and philanthropist, is a native of Meizhou, Guangdong, and the founder of Tian Jiabing Foundation. He devoted himself to charity and donated more than 300 universities, primary and secondary schools, specialized schools and kindergartens in China. He is known as the "father of 100 schools in China".
